Wedding suits made for your day

You will be photographed more in this suit than in anything else you ever wear. Domenico cuts it for you alone — to your pattern, in your cloth, finished in our Eaglemont studio — so it looks right in the room and in the photographs your family keeps.

The quick version

Book a fitting, design your suit with Domenico and choose from more than 3,000 cloths, then collect a suit crafted only for you. Everything is made in the one studio by one master tailor, and we plan the timeline around your wedding date. Your first consultation is free, with no obligation.

When to start

Four to six months is the comfortable window

It leaves time to choose cloth without pressure, hold your two fittings and have the suit finished with weeks to spare.

If your date is closer than that, call before you rule anything out. Domenico has met many tight deadlines, because nothing waits on an offshore factory – and we will tell you straight away what is realistic rather than letting you find out late.

The big day

Dressed for the day you'll remember for a lifetime

From the first look to the last dance — a suit cut for you alone, made to look right in the room and in the photographs your family keeps.

Grooms

Built around your day

The consultation starts with the day you are planning: the venue, the season, the tone, what your partner is wearing, what the party will wear beside you. Then the cloth – a vast selection to peruse, narrowed to the few that fit the occasion. Your suit is built to be worn again, so most grooms choose something that will still be working for them at anniversary dinners or friends' events years from now.

Groomsmen & wedding parties

The whole party, on one schedule

We dress the whole party when you want us to. Coordinated cloths for groom and groomsmen, group fittings at the studio, and a schedule Kellie manages so nobody misses a fitting window. Fathers of the bride and groom are welcome in the same booking.

Domenico looks forward to discussing his private packages for your groomsmen, saving up to 25% when the party is dressed here.

The Domenico Carbone Guarantee

Finished by the same hands that measured it

Your wedding suit is measured, cut and crafted in his own workroom — 100% Australian made. Domenico has made wedding garments this way for decades, continuing a craft his family has practised since 1954, and every one of them left the studio finished by the same hands that measured it.

What couples say

Absolutely amazing! So many options and so easy to work with. We knew we wanted something different and they made the whole process easy and fun.

Questions grooms ask us

Planning the timeline

How far out should I book?

Four to six months is ideal. Call us either way — what is possible depends on the season and the diary.

Can you dress the groomsmen too?

Yes, and it is easier for everyone when we do. Everyone is measured in the same studio, on one schedule, in cloths chosen to work together.

What about a tuxedo?

Black tie is a studio favourite. Tuxedos and dinner suits are cut with the same care, passion and precision as every garment – a hired suit is cut for nobody in particular, and it photographs that way.

Tuxedos and dinner suits reward the bespoke method more than anything else we make – there is nowhere for a poor fit to hide in black tie. Domenico is the Tuxedo Master of Melbourne. The results he achieves in formal attire are pure excellence.
